A beginners-level workshop where Sue teaches about natural dyes, giving the students practical advice and then provides them with hands-on experience.
This takes place at our unit in Cirencester, Gloucestershire.
The day will start at 10.00am and finish around 4.00 – 4.30pm.
Sue will explain the theory behind natural dyes and the use of mordants, then give a practical demonstration. As the day progresses the students will then get hands-on experience of using dyes through a number of different techniques.
At the end of the day you will go home with hand outs and a rainbow of dyed fibers that you have produced.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be provided during the day. But please do bring your own lunch or pop to the local supermarket and eateries.
There will be a maximum of 6 students on this course.
Please bring an apron and some washing up gloves with you along with a notepad and pen.
