This is for holding all of those different colours of yarns while you are knitting or doing crochet. When you are using colours which are very similar it is easy to pick up the wrong shade.
You can write on the front of the shade card in pencil and rub this out when finished ready for the next time.
This item is made from FSC 4mm Birch ply and cut with a laser.
