Saponaria Officinalis.
The dried roots of the Soapwort plant can be used for the cleaning of delicate fabrics.
The dried roots are placed into a pan with some water and brought to a simmer, simmer for 20 mins and then use the soapy liquid to clean the fabrics.
It will clean the lanolin off of sheep fleeces but it will not clean heavily dirty areas. The soapy liquid will last for a couple of days then a new batch must be made.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this product.
Comes in a bag of 50g or 100g in weight.
