For this Natural Dye, when used with an Alum mordant can produce red colours, soak the bloodroot for 72 hours in water. Slowly bring to the simmer and start to dye. Leave the fibres in the dye liquid overnight.
Use this Natural Dye at a ratio of 150% dyestuff to fibre.
