Acacia catechu
This Natural Dye powder gives an orange-brown colour. No mordant is necessary, but the use of a copper mordant will intensify the colours.
Use this Natural Dye powder at a ratio of 1:1 dyestuff to fibre, and mix into a paste before adding to the dye bath.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
