Lawsonia inermis
This natural dye produces shades of rust and brown. No mordant is required. Mix the powder into a paste before adding to the dye-bath.
This can also be used as a fermentation base for a 1-2-3 indigo vat.
Use this natural dye to a ratio of 50% dyestuff to fibres.
Suitable for use in Eco dyeing, Eco printing, candle and soap making.
Please wear gloves as this dye will stain your hands.
