Quercus Robur
This Natural Dye material contains the chopped bark which can produce yellows, pinks and tans. Best to soak the chopped bark for a week before using. Use at a rate of 1:1.
An Alum mordant is required for protein fibres.
A tannin and Alum mordant are required for all cellulose fibres.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
