This Natural Dye is a Lichen where no mordant is necessary.
Yellow can be produced if the dyeing is with water, but if the lichen is soaked for several weeks and shaken daily in a ammonia/water mix purple/reds may be produced.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
