Rheum palmatum
This Natural Dye produces a yellow colour and with the careful use of household ammonia, once the fibre has been dyed, can change the colour to a pink.
An Alum mordant is required for protein fibres.
A tannin and Alum mordant are required for all cellulose fibres.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
