Hypericum perforatum.
The natural dye is made from the whole of the chopped flowering tops, the colours can range from yellow, green through to brown.
An Alum mordant is required for protein fibres.
A tannin and Alum mordant are required for all cellulose fibres.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
