Reseda luteola
One of the oldest dyes in use.
This Natural Dye produces a Strong yellow colour.
Over dye with Woad for the traditional Lincoln Green colour.
An Alum mordant is required for protein fibres.
A tannin and Alum mordant are required for all cellulose fibres.
Not food safe, so please do not make a drink with this dye.
